# Teleprompter Pro vs DisplayNote Launcher

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DisplayNote Launcher at none against Teleprompter Pro's 8. DisplayNote Launcher also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 16.0). Teleprompter Pro's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (16K vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Teleprompter Pro sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. DisplayNote Launcher asks for nothing beyond the download.

DisplayNote Launcher holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teleprompter Pro has 16K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Teleprompter Pro ships an update weekly, DisplayNote Launcher every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
