# Teleprompter Pro vs Sermon Maker

The clearest difference is price: Teleprompter Pro at Free against Sermon Maker's $4.99. Teleprompter Pro also leads on rating (4.7 vs 3.0) and review sentiment (79% vs 40%). Sermon Maker's advantage is update cadence (daily vs weekly). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Teleprompter Pro is free to download; Sermon Maker costs $4.99 up front. Teleprompter Pro sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Sermon Maker sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Teleprompter Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teleprompter Pro has 16K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 79% of Teleprompter Pro's written reviews are positive against 40% of Sermon Maker's.

Teleprompter Pro ships an update weekly, Sermon Maker daily. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
