# Teleprompter Pro vs Restoke

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Restoke at none against Teleprompter Pro's 8. Restoke also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Teleprompter Pro's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (16K vs 4). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Teleprompter Pro sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Restoke asks for nothing beyond the download.

Restoke holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teleprompter Pro has 16K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Teleprompter Pro's written reviews are positive against 56% of Restoke's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Teleprompter Pro ships an update weekly, Restoke every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
