# Teleprompter Pro vs Teleprompter

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Teleprompter Pro at 79% against Teleprompter's 12%. Teleprompter Pro also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). Teleprompter's advantage is chart position (#131 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Teleprompter Pro sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Teleprompter sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Teleprompter Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teleprompter Pro has 16K ratings behind it against 3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 79% of Teleprompter Pro's written reviews are positive against 12% of Teleprompter's.

Teleprompter Pro ships an update weekly, Teleprompter fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
