# ContactEx vs ExpAppPro

The clearest difference is update cadence: ContactEx at fortnightly against ExpAppPro's every 2 months. ContactEx also leads on iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ContactEx sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ExpAppPro sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ContactEx ships an update fortnightly, ExpAppPro every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
