# ALCATEL LINK APP vs MyDigicel

The clearest difference is rating: MyDigicel at 2.8 against ALCATEL LINK APP's 1.8. MyDigicel also leads on ratings volume (2.3K vs 149). ALCATEL LINK APP's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyDigicel holds the better App Store score, 2.8 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyDigicel has 2.3K ratings behind it against 149, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of ALCATEL LINK APP's written reviews are positive against 8% of MyDigicel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ALCATEL LINK APP ships an update every 2 months, MyDigicel every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
