# Teleprompter vs SpeakApp AI

The clearest difference is ads: Teleprompter at none against SpeakApp AI's shown. Teleprompter also leads on ratings volume (34K vs 9.7K). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Teleprompter sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $59.99 per year and SpeakApp AI sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Teleprompter holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 34K and 9.7K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Teleprompter's written reviews are positive against 87% of SpeakApp AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
