# Teleprompter vs CraftNote

Teleprompter and CraftNote both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 79% of Teleprompter's written reviews are positive against 53% of CraftNote's. Teleprompter also leads on chart position (#184 vs unranked) and ratings volume (34K vs 4.7K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Teleprompter sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $59.99 per year and CraftNote sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Teleprompter against 4.7 for CraftNote. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teleprompter has 34K ratings behind it against 4.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 79% of Teleprompter's written reviews are positive against 53% of CraftNote's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
