# Yavneh Academy vs SchoolPass

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Yavneh Academy at 100% against SchoolPass's 20%. Yavneh Academy also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). SchoolPass's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.7) and update cadence (monthly vs every 6 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SchoolPass holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SchoolPass has 5K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Yavneh Academy's written reviews are positive against 20% of SchoolPass's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Yavneh Academy ships an update every 6 months, SchoolPass monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
