# Stashword vs MySudo

The clearest difference is monetization model: MySudo at free with in-app purchases against Stashword's subscription. MySudo also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (16K vs 134). Stashword's advantage is review sentiment (82% vs 51%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stashword sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and MySudo sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Stashword against 4.7 for MySudo. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MySudo has 16K ratings behind it against 134, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of Stashword's written reviews are positive against 51% of MySudo's.

Stashword ships an update every 4 months, MySudo every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
