# FITIV Pulse vs HeartCast

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: HeartCast at none against FITIV Pulse's 10. HeartCast also leads on update cadence (daily vs fortnightly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). FITIV Pulse's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FITIV Pulse sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. HeartCast asks for nothing beyond the download.

HeartCast holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FITIV Pulse has 13K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FITIV Pulse ships an update fortnightly, HeartCast daily. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
