# Platypus Evolution vs Sloth Evolution

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Platypus Evolution at 6.1K against Sloth Evolution's 141. Platypus Evolution also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Platypus Evolution sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Sloth Evolution sells 15 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Platypus Evolution against 4.8 for Sloth Evolution. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Platypus Evolution has 6.1K ratings behind it against 141, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of Platypus Evolution's written reviews are positive against 91% of Sloth Evolution's.

Platypus Evolution ships an update every 3 weeks, Sloth Evolution every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
