# Hover vs One Tap Connect

The clearest difference is ads: One Tap Connect at none against Hover's shown. One Tap Connect also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Hover's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (3.1K vs 4). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hover holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hover has 3.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hover ships an update every 8 days, One Tap Connect monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
