# Just Write vs Timely Automation

The clearest difference is rating: Timely Automation at 5.0 against Just Write's 4.3. Timely Automation also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Just Write's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (1.8K vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Just Write sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Timely Automation sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timely Automation holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Just Write has 1.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Just Write ships an update every 11 days, Timely Automation every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
