The clearest difference is ads: Classbook at none against GetGo's shown. Classbook also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). GetGo's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Classbook ships an update every 2 months, GetGo every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
