# Instant Voice Playback vs Note & Widget

The clearest difference is rating: Instant Voice Playback at 4.3 against Note & Widget's 3.7. Instant Voice Playback also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 26.0). Note & Widget's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Instant Voice Playback holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Instant Voice Playback's written reviews are positive against 67% of Note & Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Instant Voice Playback ships an update every 3 weeks, Note & Widget every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
