# Rainy Cocoa Music Player vs VoiSona

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Rainy Cocoa Music Player at none against VoiSona's 10. Rainy Cocoa Music Player also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 77%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). VoiSona's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 58 months) and ratings volume (138 vs 1). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VoiSona sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Rainy Cocoa Music Player asks for nothing beyond the download.

VoiSona holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VoiSona has 138 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Rainy Cocoa Music Player's written reviews are positive against 77% of VoiSona's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rainy Cocoa Music Player ships an update every 58 months, VoiSona every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
