# Nicequest vs Asound

The clearest difference is rating: Nicequest at 4.7 against Asound's 3.0. Nicequest also leads on ratings volume (348 vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). Asound's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nicequest holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nicequest has 348 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Nicequest's written reviews are positive against 50% of Asound's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nicequest ships an update every 2 months, Asound every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
