# PRO EDU vs Regere

The clearest difference is rating: Regere at 5.0 against PRO EDU's 4.6. PRO EDU's advantage is ratings volume (102 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PRO EDU sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $249.99 per 6 months and Regere sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Regere holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PRO EDU has 102 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PRO EDU ships an update every 2 months, Regere daily. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
