# PRO EDU vs Twila

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Twila at none against PRO EDU's 2. Twila also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). PRO EDU's advantage is ratings volume (101 vs 4) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PRO EDU sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $249.99 per 6 months. Twila asks for nothing beyond the download.

Twila holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PRO EDU has 101 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 87% of PRO EDU's written reviews are positive against 100% of Twila's.
