# PRO EDU vs FrameFast

The clearest difference is update cadence: FrameFast at monthly against PRO EDU's every 2 months. PRO EDU's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PRO EDU sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $249.99 per 6 months and FrameFast sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PRO EDU ships an update every 2 months, FrameFast monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
