# Hyperion Remote vs Almostly

The clearest difference is update cadence: Almostly at every 3 days against Hyperion Remote's every 6 weeks. Hyperion Remote's advantage is device support (5 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.5). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hyperion Remote sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month and Almostly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hyperion Remote ships an update every 6 weeks, Almostly every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
