# Amcrest Connect vs iWFCam

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Amcrest Connect at none against iWFCam's 2. Amcrest Connect also leads on iOS requirement (5.1.1 vs 15.6). iWFCam's advantage is rating (2.2 vs 1.8) and ratings volume (143 vs 10). Both are free to download. iWFCam sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Amcrest Connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

iWFCam holds the better App Store score, 2.2 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iWFCam has 143 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Amcrest Connect's written reviews are positive against 14% of iWFCam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
