# DJI GO vs CloudRover IV

The clearest difference is rating: CloudRover IV at 2.9 against DJI GO's 2.3. CloudRover IV also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). DJI GO's advantage is ratings volume (3.3K vs 10) and review sentiment (15% vs 0%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CloudRover IV holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DJI GO has 3.3K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of DJI GO's written reviews are positive against 0% of CloudRover IV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DJI GO ships an update every 2 months, CloudRover IV every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
