# DJI GO vs VS GPS PRO

The clearest difference is monetization model: VS GPS PRO at free against DJI GO's free with in-app purchases. VS GPS PRO also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). DJI GO's advantage is ratings volume (3.3K vs 111) and rating (2.3 vs 2.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DJI GO holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DJI GO has 3.3K ratings behind it against 111, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of DJI GO's written reviews are positive against 18% of VS GPS PRO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DJI GO ships an update every 2 months, VS GPS PRO every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
