# DJI GO vs Q8n Control

The clearest difference is monetization model: Q8n Control at free against DJI GO's free with in-app purchases. Q8n Control also leads on rating (2.6 vs 2.3). DJI GO's advantage is ratings volume (3.3K vs 5) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Q8n Control holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DJI GO has 3.3K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 15% of DJI GO's written reviews are positive against 17% of Q8n Control's.
