# Canon Camera Connect vs Sony | Creators' App

The clearest difference is rating: Canon Camera Connect at 4.8 against Sony | Creators' App's 3.9. Canon Camera Connect also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sony | Creators' App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Canon Camera Connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

Canon Camera Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Canon Camera Connect has 152K ratings behind it against 2.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two.
