# Captured vs Fragments

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Captured at none against Fragments's 1. Captured also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 26.2). Fragments's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fragments sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Captured asks for nothing beyond the download.

Captured ships an update every 3 months, Fragments every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
