# Quick Notes with widget vs Subs

The clearest difference is update cadence: Subs at every 2 weeks against Quick Notes with widget's every 6 months. Quick Notes with widget's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quick Notes with widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Subs sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Quick Notes with widget ships an update every 6 months, Subs every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
