# Lockit Secure Password Manager vs AppLocker

The clearest difference is rating: Lockit Secure Password Manager at 4.7 against AppLocker's 4.0. Lockit Secure Password Manager also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (758 vs 6). AppLocker's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 71%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lockit Secure Password Manager sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and AppLocker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lockit Secure Password Manager holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lockit Secure Password Manager has 758 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Lockit Secure Password Manager's written reviews are positive against 100% of AppLocker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lockit Secure Password Manager ships an update every 5 days, AppLocker every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
