# Gojek vs BaliCab

The clearest difference is ads: Gojek at none against BaliCab's shown. Gojek also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (8.3K vs 2). BaliCab's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BaliCab holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gojek has 8.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Gojek ships an update weekly, BaliCab every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and September 8, 2026 respectively.
