# Shortcut for Contacts vs Call Widget

The clearest difference is monetization model: Shortcut for Contacts at free with in-app purchases against Call Widget's subscription. Call Widget's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shortcut for Contacts sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Call Widget sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Written reviews are what separate them: 39% of Shortcut for Contacts's written reviews are positive against 46% of Call Widget's.
