# Timerix vs Timers & Alarms

The clearest difference is update cadence: Timers & Alarms at every 4 weeks against Timerix's every 2 months. Timerix's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timerix sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Timers & Alarms sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timerix ships an update every 2 months, Timers & Alarms every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
