# K105FM vs K

The clearest difference is rating: K at 4.8 against K105FM's 4.4. K also leads on ratings volume (77 vs 7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). K105FM's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

K holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: K has 77 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

K105FM ships an update every 2 months, K every 10 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
