# MSN vs SnappyFact

The clearest difference is rating: MSN at 4.6 against SnappyFact's 1.0. MSN also leads on ratings volume (124K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). SnappyFact's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 38%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MSN sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $20.00 per month and SnappyFact sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MSN holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MSN has 124K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of MSN's written reviews are positive against 50% of SnappyFact's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MSN ships an update every 2 weeks, SnappyFact every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
