# Sync vs HEAVN Software Update

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HEAVN Software Update at 100% against Sync's 50%. HEAVN Software Update also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11) and ads (none vs shown). Sync's advantage is rating (3.7 vs 2.6) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 20 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sync sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. HEAVN Software Update asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sync holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sync has 26 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Sync's written reviews are positive against 100% of HEAVN Software Update's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sync ships an update every 2 months, HEAVN Software Update every 20 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
