# Storm Tracker° vs Emergency Alert

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Emergency Alert at none against Storm Tracker°'s 8. Emergency Alert also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Storm Tracker°'s advantage is ratings volume (82K vs 3) and review sentiment (46% vs 33%). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Storm Tracker° sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Emergency Alert asks for nothing beyond the download.

Emergency Alert holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Storm Tracker° has 82K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Storm Tracker°'s written reviews are positive against 33% of Emergency Alert's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
