# Storm Tracker° vs Emergency

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Emergency at none against Storm Tracker°'s 8. Emergency also leads on ads (none vs shown). Storm Tracker°'s advantage is ratings volume (82K vs 7.9K) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Storm Tracker° sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Emergency asks for nothing beyond the download.

Emergency holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Storm Tracker° has 82K ratings behind it against 7.9K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 46% and 46% positive.
