# Denoise vs RHD Light

Denoise and RHD Light both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 38% of Denoise's written reviews are positive against 0% of RHD Light's. Denoise also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (33 vs 1). RHD Light's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Denoise sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. RHD Light asks for nothing beyond the download.

RHD Light holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Denoise has 33 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Denoise's written reviews are positive against 0% of RHD Light's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Denoise ships an update every 4 days, RHD Light every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
