# Onewheel vs RC Map

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Onewheel at 950 against RC Map's 9. Onewheel also leads on iOS requirement (10 vs 15.0). RC Map's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and review sentiment (43% vs 32%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.5 for Onewheel against 3.6 for RC Map. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Onewheel has 950 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 32% of Onewheel's written reviews are positive against 43% of RC Map's.

Onewheel ships an update fortnightly, RC Map every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
