# Burn It Down vs Shockbot

The clearest difference is ads: Burn It Down at none against Shockbot's shown. Burn It Down also leads on review sentiment (68% vs 50%) and ratings volume (103 vs 17). Shockbot's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 months) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Burn It Down sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Shockbot sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shockbot holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Burn It Down has 103 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Burn It Down's written reviews are positive against 50% of Shockbot's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Burn It Down ships an update every 3 months, Shockbot every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
