# Rocket Keyboard vs Drafts

The clearest difference is rating: Drafts at 4.8 against Rocket Keyboard's 4.0. Drafts also leads on review sentiment (70% vs 40%) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rocket Keyboard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Drafts sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drafts holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drafts has 11K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 40% of Rocket Keyboard's written reviews are positive against 70% of Drafts's.

Rocket Keyboard ships an update every 3 months, Drafts every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
