# Rocket Keyboard vs Instant Board

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Rocket Keyboard at 40% against Instant Board's 0%. Instant Board's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rocket Keyboard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Instant Board sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Instant Board holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Rocket Keyboard's written reviews are positive against 0% of Instant Board's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
