# Comic Draw by plasq vs Animator

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Animator at none against Comic Draw by plasq's 3. Animator also leads on ads (none vs shown) and device support (3 vs 1). Comic Draw by plasq's advantage is ratings volume (750 vs 62) and review sentiment (67% vs 57%). On price, rating and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Comic Draw by plasq sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Animator asks for nothing beyond the download.

Animator holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comic Draw by plasq has 750 ratings behind it against 62, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Comic Draw by plasq's written reviews are positive against 57% of Animator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
