# Yosemite Ranch vs Otherside Roasters

The clearest difference is rating: Yosemite Ranch at 5.0 against Otherside Roasters's 3.7. Yosemite Ranch also leads on ratings volume (20 vs 3) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.1). Otherside Roasters's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Yosemite Ranch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yosemite Ranch has 20 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Yosemite Ranch ships an update every 4 months, Otherside Roasters every 6 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
