# myGwork vs FOLX Community Platform

The clearest difference is rating: FOLX Community Platform at 3.6 against myGwork's 2.6. FOLX Community Platform also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (58 vs 9). myGwork's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (20% vs 11%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FOLX Community Platform holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FOLX Community Platform has 58 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of myGwork's written reviews are positive against 11% of FOLX Community Platform's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

myGwork ships an update every 2 months, FOLX Community Platform weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
