# Mobile VOCALOID Editor vs Beat Blocks

The clearest difference is rating: Beat Blocks at 3.9 against Mobile VOCALOID Editor's 2.9. Beat Blocks also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months). Mobile VOCALOID Editor's advantage is review sentiment (44% vs 21%) and ratings volume (141 vs 44). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mobile VOCALOID Editor sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Beat Blocks sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
