# Polarsteps vs Elya

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Polarsteps at 9.8K against Elya's 1. Polarsteps also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks) and chart position (#53 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Polarsteps sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Elya sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Polarsteps against 5.0 for Elya. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Polarsteps has 9.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Polarsteps ships an update every 4 days, Elya every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
