# Decision Widget vs YouTube Dislike Checker

The clearest difference is monetization model: YouTube Dislike Checker at free against Decision Widget's paid. YouTube Dislike Checker also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (32 vs 4). Decision Widget's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Decision Widget costs $0.99 and YouTube Dislike Checker $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Decision Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YouTube Dislike Checker has 32 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Decision Widget's written reviews are positive against 68% of YouTube Dislike Checker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Decision Widget ships an update every 8 months, YouTube Dislike Checker every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
