# NOVAmobile vs WorkAxle

The clearest difference is rating: NOVAmobile at 2.3 against WorkAxle's 1.7. NOVAmobile also leads on ratings volume (173 vs 7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). WorkAxle's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NOVAmobile holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NOVAmobile has 173 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of NOVAmobile's written reviews are positive against 27% of WorkAxle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NOVAmobile ships an update every 6 weeks, WorkAxle every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
